As a freelance documentary filmmaker and assistant director, I have over 5 years' experience working with international directors and production companies in France, Germany and Spain. My expertise lies in the research and development of documentary scripts, working closely with directors and producers to transform concepts into compelling and informed cinematic stories. I provide a comprehensive, rigorous and personalised methodology, taking into account the individuality, perspective and cinematic credentials of the director I work with on each project.
I'm fluent in several languages (English, French, Spanish, German, Catalan), which gives me access to a variety of sources and enables me to establish meaningful links with international actors and experts. In international co-productions, my ability to navigate different cultural and linguistic contexts also plays an important role in pre-production and during filming, as it facilitates communication between the different teams. During shoots in territories outside the language range of the director I'm working with, I've acted as a simultaneous translator and conducted interviews.
I'm currently looking for new challenges in which I can bring my experience and methodology, being a key element in contributing to the excellence of quality documentary projects.
