"I observe what is revealed between gestures and memory. From a microscopic or macro-political, historical and contemporary perspective, I explore the strategies of resistance, mutual aid and resilience of humans and other species."

A basket contains the history of humanity, and in its weaving, the link between species is obvious. Humans and animals (birds, fish, insects) have always used plant fibres to create objects that they use to protect themselves or to capture others.
‘Inhabitant Llaços’ traces a deep and complex parallel between the many examples of weaving species in the animal world and the history of the craft of basketry that has developed and been passed down through time, from the Neolithic to the 21st century.å

Bajo la luz de la Media Luna

Visual creation: Irina Warner
Musical creation: Michele Perna (synthe et voix), Daniele Lipari (guitarre)

Produced by the Museo Etnològic i de Cultures del Mon, Barcelona (@muec_bcn)

Following the imagination of Juan Rulfo in his novel Pedro Páramo, the performance ‘Bajo la luz de Media Luna’ invites the audience to take a journey to Comala, where everything belongs to the past. In Mexico's hottest village, the shadows of the disappeared mingle with the echo of their whispers.
A visual and sonic journey in which the boundaries between life and death are blurred. Fragments of photographs are broken down into the textures, elements and atmospheres of the novel's landscape.
